| Gibbs
Farm
Established in the early twenties as a coffee farm,
Gibbs has retained the charm of life in East Africa
during the halcyon days. Nestling against the slopes
of the Ngorongoro Eastern Highlands, this charming coffee
plantation and farm makes an ideal start and end to
your safari. Originally the home of the current owners,
Gibb's Farm has evolved into a charming lodge that has
retained the atmosphere of a working farm and the mystique
of an era. There is a nature walk to a waterfall where
elephant and buffalo come to drink.
The lodge is conveniently situated between Arusha,
the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti. The best way
to appreciate the comfort of Gibb's Farm is to stay
for several days when you may want to visit the Crater,
Lake Manyara and places of local interest or just unwind
in the enchanting surroundings. Lunch is a huge buffet
with fresh vegetables and herbs from the garden. |
